THE 2023 BLUES AWARDS
The fifth blues awards curated by the Sydney Blues Society. This year we are making a number of changes to enhance and grow the awards. A key change is the collaboration with the Cronulla Jazz and Blues Festival to stage an Awards night where the headline awards are announced and the winners honoured.
Summary of the Awards:

They will be called “The Blues Awards”, presented by the SBS and CJBF

They will focus will be Sydney & NSW

The key awards will be announced at a live event on 1st June at the Brass Monkey in Cronulla on the eve of the CJBF

The Award shortlist will be formed based on voting within the SBS Facebook community of > 4,200

The winners will be voted on by SBS members, based on the shortlist

A hall of Fame to honour luminaries of the community

A Musicians Musicians award, voted for by their peers.
